These donuts are amazingggg don't walk run and get one when you have a sweet tooth I can't express how delicious they are I recommend the glazed donut with strawberries and inside also has strawberry glaze and fresh strawberries that one is my absolute favorite! They are really fast too there was a bit of a line super nice and friendly workers I will definitely be coming back for a whole box of these
Donut man is one of my favorite places to have a dessert. There is a rotating special donut menu which I always order off of. Some of my favorite gems from this spot are the strawberry donuts and the Peanut butter and Jelly donuts. The strawberry donuts have whole strawberries placed within and the PB and J donuts have peanut butter and jelly inside of the donut. The service is always very good and really quick. The staff are kind and the donuts come out almost immediately. Parking for this shop is really difficult to find during extremely busy times. There is a tiny parking lot in the back fo the shop that is usually full. There is also usually a long line to get food here. However the line does move quickly. There is also no place to eat at the shop. You wait outside and order from the window. It is pretty clean and there are benches alongside the wall so you do not get too tired standing and waiting. Overall, I would really recommend trying this place!
I was at Donut man today. I was VERY disappointed with the customer service. They had a line of people and only 1 person working the order windows; yet there was 6 workers behind the counter. NONE of them bothered to open the second window, until they possibly heard us in line verbally complaining. They need to be RETRAINED in customer service, and the management needs a refresher course as well. The original owner Jim, would be disappointed to know, what he built up, has suddenly declined. SMH.
The Donut Man 915 E Rte 66, Glendora, CA 91741 I saw the review of this place on tiktok by a social media person and I had to come to this location when I came to LA. You just put it on your Google maps and remind you this is a place you want to visit and it's worth the hype people. Obviously a lot of people are coming from out of town here because, while I was there multiple cars kept pulling up. A big note it has its own parking lot it's to the left side and the rear of the building. The right parking lot is for another building that's a gym. So please make sure you park in the right place or on the street. Now to these delicious donuts and so many beautiful selections. To be honest the pictures do not even do them much justice. Please come here with your blood sugar low and an empty stomach and leave satisfied . The only thing that I would say about this whole experience I wish I could have got them fresh while they were still warm. Other than that I'm pretty sure that vast majority of people are not disappointed making the trip to this location. =
Donut Man is always a treat for us. From coming here after a night out with friends to now experiencing it with our kids and sharing the experience and memory with them. It's always a great place to grab treats for friends & family and having the "whoa" factor when they first see the donuts. Parking is limited due to a very small parking lot right behind the shop. It's on a busy street too so there's not much parking on the street either. Also, when it's busy, there's always a long line ranging from a 45 minute wait to an hr...sometimes longer. Mornings and evenings are always busy. Today we happened to go right before noon and it was empty and no wait. Just depends on time of day or holiday as well. There's really no space to sit and eat. You have to buy it, eat at your car or go back to your house if you want to sit down to enjoy it. There's only two windows to order from and a variety of flavors to choose from. You can get your classic donuts or one of their popular donuts like the strawberry donut. It's always fun once you get to the window to see the display or donuts and to sneak a peek at them making it. The strawberry donut is what they're known for and how we began coming here. I don't know how they do it but the strawberries are always sweet and pairs so well with the donut. And take it from someone who doesn't like strawberries....its worth the try. It's really tasty and you don't feel so bad eating it if you share half with someone. lol also it's "fruit" so it's kind of healthy haha. Along with trying that, we would also recommend trying their tiger tail donuts and other classics as well. This round, we also got their apple donuts and cream cheese raspberry donut along with some classic old fashion, chocolate bar and sprinkle ones for the kids. Of course the Tiger tail is amongst all that too! The workers are friendly and patient, allowing you plenty of them to choose what you want. So when you're free or in the area, go check them out. It's definitely worth it.
Went late Friday night like 1 am and they still had 3 workers that I could see, and like 5 people out front. Donuts hit the spot and curbed my late night sweet tooth. The service was quick and kind for 1am I got a crumb, maple glaze and glaze with nut toppings the maple is was the best. Vibe is well lit and inviting even late night. And they have some amazing looking donuts that are filled with strawberries and custard. Not really my thing but if you like it this might be your place
I've heard about the Donut Man and their incredible looking fresh Strawberry Donuts for years. But I'm always afraid they either won't be in season or they'll be sold out. 60 miles round trip is a lot of driving for donuts. But it was a random Sunday morning and I said "heck with it. Let's go". Located off Route 66 it's hard to miss that little brown building and those welcoming yellow letters. Parking kinda stinks. It's right off the road and you may miss their designated parking like I did (which specifically says NO DONUT MAN PARKING). But there are nearby places that don't yell at you. Be prepared to wait in line because this place is extremely popular. They don't just have strawberry donuts. Glazed, tiger tails, PB&J, cosmopolitan oh yes. You can also see the donuts being made with windows all around the store. I got a small assortment but the star was absolutely the great strawberry donut. Loaded with fresh strawberries, not too sweet with moist donut goodness, it definitely hits all the right notes. So was it worth the drive? YES. While it will probably be a minute before I go back but I'd absolutely return. All the donuts were wonderful but it's the strawberry donut that would have me making going back. YMMV but if you're in the area absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommended!
Always a ~treat~ to stop by Donut Man (pun intended). $21 for 9 donuts which isn't bad compared to LA (Sidecar is $4-5 per donut). Out of this classic, no frill bunch of donuts, my favorites were the maple bar and cinnamon crumb. The glazed donut was not as airy and yeasty as I hoped. Old fashioned was standard. Didn't try the sugar donut or tiger tail.
Worth the drive and the wait in line for these donuts! Always something new to try - ordered the peanut butter and jelly donut, strawberry donut, crumb, and old fashioned glazed - all so delicious! They make donuts all day, so they are fresh, and you can watch through the side window! Smallish lot in the rear and street parking is available.
Tried donut man for this time and I got their famous strawberry donuts. I have heard of this place for a while but I never been here. Went here on a Saturday around 7 pm and the line wasn't that long. Got the strawberry donut and surprisingly it wasn't too sweet. Since it was strawberry season, the strawberries are fresh and sweet. The donut itself is pretty huge so make sure to share it with someone. As a donut lover, this place does live up to its hype. The place is open 24/7 so you can get your donut cravings at any hour. Parking lot is pretty small so during their busy hours, street parking might be your best option.
